Pasta Salad

Mrs. Brake

This was my signature dish for reunions or covered dish meals; it was always a hit and is especially economical when made with pasta and salad dressing purchased from BB’s (the discount grocery store where I love to find bargains) and fresh veggies from the garden. Then, my brother got a hold of the recipe and improved upon it by adding olives, pepperoni and chunks of cheese. Everyone was impressed with his culinary skills, and it became his recipe!

12 oz. tri-color pasta spirals, cooked and drained
1 green pepper
1 cucumber
1 tomato
1 purple onion, small
1 (8-oz.) bottle Zesty Italian dressing
1/3 jar McCormick’s Salad Supreme (optional)

Toss together; refrigerate overnight.
