Rubbed Pork Loin

Miriam, Dwayne & Celeste S.

I’m so glad the Sollenbergers shared this family recipe with me.  It’s an economical and easy meat to serve for company and is always a hit.  The Szeged Rib Rub is the secret to the delicious flavor.

Spray or rub pork loin with olive oil.  Press Szeged Rib Rub into loin (one can per loin).  Marinate in refrigerator for two days.

Charcoal grill method:  Use one heaping pie plate of charcoal.  Cook for two hours using indirect method and drip pan.

Oven method:  Bake at 375 degrees for two hours.  Cover loosely with foil, put small amount of water in bottom pan.

Cook until pork temps at 160 degrees.  Let sit 10 minutes before slicing.
