White Butter Icing

 
Mother

Large batch:
Blend:
     3 c. confectioner’s sugar
     1/3 c. butter
Stir until smooth:
     3 T. cream
     1½ t. vanilla

Small batch:
Blend:
     2 c. confectioner’s sugar
     ¼ c. butter
Stir until smooth:
     2 T. cream
     1 t. vanilla
